"Waiting for Jesus"
Please join us Tuesday evening, December 3, 2019, for our annual Ladies' Christmas Dinner at Cartersville First Baptist Church. The doors open at 5:30pm and dinner will be served at 6:15pm.
Individual seat tickets are $20.00 each. You may purchase a full table (6 or 8 individual seats at the same table at one check-out) and receive a discount on your order.
Our dinner benefits the Bartow Family Resource Center in Cartersville, GA. We ask and encourage each lady attending to bring one or more of the following: diapers in size 4, 5, 6, refill size baby wipes, or a monetary donation to the Bartow Family Resource Center.
Our speaker for the evening will be Lauren Mitchell. Lauren is a wife and mother of three children and one ornery black lab named Dixie. She lives in Georgia where she encourages women to understand prayer in a deeper way through journaling. Her passion is writing her heart out to God. Having seen firsthand how praying scripture sets the Truth into action to change lives, she loves sharing this with others. She also enjoys cooking, reading, swimming, boating, camping, four-wheeling, and hiking. Lauren loves encouraging women to learn more about God's heart for themselves through His word. She actively speaks to target audiences about motherhood, her love for the lost art of prayer, and how to live a Spirit-filled life. Lauren’s books include: Steadfast: A Study in the Prayer that made David’s Whole Heart Trust in a Steadfast God; A Love that Conquers; and Things Pondered from a Mother’s Heart.
