Facilitators: Royce Bishop

7 Sessions, beginning Sunday, February 17
5:00PM - 6:00PM

In Overcomer, Dr. David Jeremiah will teach you how to suit up for victory!
Living the life of an Overcomer starts with one very simple, yet often overlooked action: putting on your armor.

But what if there's more to it than just a metaphor?
What if there are deeper truths God wants to reveal about the spiritual battles that are raging in unseen realms?

God has given you eight strategies for putting on your armor—for being prepared in the fight against the evil one and for OVERCOMING in His name.

It is further recommended that you use your own copy of this book with the study. The book is available online at Amazon or Lifeway.

Every Marriage is unique, expressed by the colorful personalities of each spouse and textured by the circumstances at play in their lives. Blending these to make marriage work is a divinely inspired art form — challenging to master but definitely worth the effort.

In The Art of Marriage®, we weave together expert teaching, engaging stories, man-on-the-street interviews, humorous vignettes and much more to portray the hope and beauty of God's design for marriage, and now the same great content is available in a six-week study format. In The Art of Marriage® small-group series, couples can explore God's Purpose and Plan, Overcoming Isolation, Fulfilling Our Responsibilities, Communication and Conflict, Experiencing Real Intimacy, and Leaving a Lasting Legacy in a home group or Sunday school setting.

Your marriage is more than a sacred covenant with another person. It is a spiritual discipline designed to help you know God better, trust him more fully, and love him more deeply.  What if God’s primary intent for your marriage isn’t to make you happy . . . but holy? Sacred Marriage uncovers the mystery of God’s overarching purpose. This book may very well alter profoundly the contours of your marriage. It will most certainly change you. Because whether it is delightful or difficult, your marriage can become a doorway to a closer walk with God, and to a spiritual integrity that, like salt, seasons the world around you with the savor of Christ.

Where have all the disciples gone?  There is a missing force in Christianity today: discipleship. The result is powerless Christians attending powerless churches, having a powerless presence in the world. The power, authority, abundance, victory, and impact God has promised will come about only when we understand and align ourselves with His definition of discipleship.

The Enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer's inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.
